Itinerary 

DAY 1, THU  USA - ATHENS: Overnight flight to Athens, Greece.  Air not included.

DAY 2, FRI ATHENS: Arrival in Athens. Transfer to your hotel. Rest of day at your leisure to explore the old city of Plaka with its many cafes, tavernas and shops. Royal Olympic Hotel 5*  

DAY 3 SAT ATHENS- Cruise: Transfer to Piraeus Port for our 14-night Aegean & Adriatic Island Cruise mid-day departure for Kotor, Montenegro.  (L, D)   Inside Cabin Cat. IB  Deck 4/5

DAY 4, SUN -Cruising Adriatic: : Day at Sea. Enjoy all the amenities of the ship while you sail the Adriatic Sea. (B, L, D)

DAY 5 MON -Kotor, MONTENEGRO: Where red rooftops contrast with crystal blue waters and towering peaks. Kotor’s spectacular bay is an awe-inspiring backdrop to a medieval maze of stunning architecture, Venetian palaces, ornate churches, museums and squares sprinkled with cafes, bars and restaurants. Kotor is a UNESCO listed world heritage site with a 2,000-year history that can be traced back all the way to its ancient Roman beginnings. This historic city is mesmerizing. Explore the monumental city walls built in the Middle Ages and cris cross the narrow streets to the most recognizable symbol of the city, the Cathedral of St. Tryphon, a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture. After you’ve delved deep into Kotor’s past, its surrounding nature provides respite.Take it in with a refreshing drink overlooking the towering mountains and glittering, yacht-studded bay. DAY 6, TUE-Split, CROATIA: Split is the second-largest city in Croatia, a coastal metropolis that blends ancient history with modern life. It was founded over 2,000 years ago and became an important settlement in Roman times. At the heart of Split is the Diocletian’s Palace, built for the Roman emperor at the turn of the 4th century and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The palace covered around 11,500 square miles; it wasn’t just an imperial residence but a military garrison. Over the centuries, it slowly grew and turned into a town. But the well-preserved ancient columns, courtyards, cavernous cellars remain, offering a fascinating glimpse into Roman life. Today they’re filled with buzzing cafes and bars, lively markets with an array of shops. (B, L, D)  

DAY 7, WED— Venice, ITALY:   Venice is a magical destination like no other place on Earth; it is a floating city made up of more than 100 islands in a shallow lagoon, separated by canals and connected by bridges. Considered to be one of Europe’s most romantic cities, it’s famous for its stunning mix of architecture, unique atmosphere and its classic boat, the gondola. The Grand Canal separates the two halves of the city’s historic center, where you can only get around by boat or on foot. With no cars, you can wander to your heart’s content through winding alleys, discovering picture-perfect scenes at every turn. Take the time to admire the magnificent St. Mark’s Basilica, stroll through vibrant markets, and savor fresh seafood in a traditional trattoria. (B, L, D)  

DAY 8, THUR -Cruising Adriatic: Day at Sea. Enjoy all the amenities of the ship while you sail the Adriatic Sea. (B, L, D)

DAY 9, FRI— Katakolo, GREECE Transport yourself to a bygone era as you step foot in Katakolo, a Greek island brimming with historical significance. This picturesque village nestled in the Peloponnese region serves as a gateway to the legendary city of Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games in 776 BC Every corner of Katakolo echoes with the grandeur of ancient Greece, enticing you to embark on a journey through time. DAY 10, SAT— Athens, GREECE: Early arrival into Athens. Take an included excursion of Athens Monuments-The Acropolis & the New Museum. Depart for Thessaloniki at 5:00 pm (B, L, D)  

DAY 11, SUN—THESSALONIKI: Early morning arrival to the port of Thessaloniki. A gorgeous and cosmopolitan seaside city with centuries of cultural commingling. Early evening departure for Kusadasi.  (B, L, D)  

DAY 12, MON - Kusadasi, TURKEY:  Early afternoon arrival to the Port of Kusadasi. For those of you that never discovered Kusadasi, we highly recommend the optional excursion House of Virgin Mary & Ancient Ephesus or perhaps you may prefer to walk around this colorful town on your own. Early evening return to the ship as you sail for Heraklion, Crete.(B, L, D)  

DAY 13, TUES - Heraklion, CRETE: Early morning breakfast will be served onboard as you arrive in the Port of Heraklion, Crete. A full day is at your disposal to enjoy the golden beaches, world-class museums and stylish nightlife before sailing for Santorini. DAY  14, WED - SANTORINI:  Few islands have the power to captivate the way Santorini does. Gorgeous and cosmopolitan, it’s famous for that classic Greek island look with white-painted houses clustered along narrow winding lanes, perched atop reddish-black volcanic cliffs that tumble down more than a thousand feet to the wide caldera. It’s easy to see how this island, the pearl of the Cycladic archipelago, can lay claim to being the source of the legend of Atlantis. Santorini, or “Thera” 
in Greek, is most celebrated for the dramatic views of its volcanic caldera, formed during a massive eruption around 1646 BC. That eruption shook up the island—making its center collapse—but also created some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. (B, L, D)

DAY 15, THURS - MYKONOS:  Early morning arrival for a full day in Mykonos basking in year-round sunshine, its rugged rocky landscape blends seamlessly with smooth sandy beaches. This island, one of the most cosmopolitan islands in Greece, has become the favorite destination of jetsetters from around the world. You will have a full day and night to enjoy the beaches and nightlife that Mykonos has to offer. You will be departing Mykonos at 2:00 am on Friday. (B, L, D)                    

DAY 16, FRI - MILOS: Early morning arrival in Milos. You’ll be spellbound by Milo’s contrasting volcanic landscape that’s full of refreshing surprises. Its coastline with shaped sculpted rocks, quaint white stone fishing villages captivate viewers for hours. Late afternoon departure for Athens.   (B, L, D) 

DAY 17, SAT – PIRAEUS / ATHENS: You will arrive at Piraeus Port. Enjoy breakfast onboard prior disembarking and transfer to Athens International Airport for your flight back home, bringing wonderful memories to share with your family and friends.  (B).
