DAY 1, May 12, SUNDAY - USA / ATHENS: Overnight flight to Athens, Greece.        

DAY 2, May 13, MONDAY - ATHENS: Tour begins today. Arrival in Athens. Transfer to your    hotel. “Welcome to Athens Dinner” awaits you on the roof garden this evening. Rest of the day at  leiisure.  (D)  Royal Olympic Hotel 5*  

DAY 3, May 14, TUESDAY - ATHENS: Morning sightseeing tour of Athens. Visits include the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. Late afternoon we continue with a wonderful drive along the Athenian Riviera. During this relaxing ride you’ll enjoy splendid views of the Saronic Gulf while passing through some of Athens’ most beautiful suburbs. Arriving at Cape Sounion you will visit the 5th century B.C. Temple of Poseidon with its magnificent panoramic view of the Aegean Sea. Tonight dinner at Vlaxika restaurant in Varkiza with authentic skewered lamb and side dishes. DAY 4, May 15, WEDNESDAY – ATHENS / CORINTH / MYCENAE / OLYMPIA: After breakfast depart on your five day motorcoach tour of Classical Greece and Meteora. Visit Corinth Canal and Ancient Corinth. Continue to Mycenae, at its peak, Mycenae was one of the most important Ancient Greek cities and is linked to several works of cultural significance, including the Odyssey and the Iliad. Today, Mycenae contains several well-preserved sites, including the Lion’s Gate and the North Gate, which form parts of its fortified walls and which once stood 18 meters high and 6 to 8 meters thick. Mycenae flourished into a fortified city and as ruled at one time by the famous King Agamemnon. Continue to Olympia for dinner and overnight. (B, D) Hotel Europa Olympia 4*           

DAY 5, May 16, THURSDAY - OLYMPIA / DELPHI: Today we visit the ancient site of Olympia, site of the ancient Olympic Games. Visit the Sanctuary of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, the stadium and the Museum. Drive via Patra and Rion to Delphi for dinner and overnight. (B, D)       Amalia Hotel Delphi 4*                                                        

DAY 6, May 17, FRIDAY - DELPHI / THERMOPYLAE / KALAMBAKA: After breakfast we check out of the hotel to visit the archaeological site of Delphi, including the Temple of Apollo and its museum. Next stop – Thermopylae – site of the famous Greek-Persian battle that King Leonidas and 300 Spartans heroically held the Persians. Later we continue by Lamia and Trikala for an evening arrival in Kalambaka for dinner and overnight. (B, D)  Hotel Divani Hotel 4*

DAY 7, May 18, SATURDAY - KALAMBAKA / METEORA:  In the morning visit the breathtaking monasteries of Meteora atop 1000-1200 ft. cliffs. You will visit ageless monasteries containing priceless historical and religious treasures standing suspended between earth and sky. This afternoon at your leisure to explore the town or take a swim at the hotel’s pool. (B, D)  Hotel Divani Hotel 4*

DAY 8, May 19, SUNDAY – KALAMBAKA / KAMENA VOURLA / ATHENS: This morning after breakfast, we continue south traveling to Kamena Vourla, a seaside resort. A stop for coffee or light snack on your own will take place here before we continue the ride back to Athens with late afternoon arrival. Take the rest of the afternoon-evening and explore the old city of Athens Plaka filled with shops, cafes and tavernas. Overnight in Athens.  (B)  Royal Olympic Hotel 5*  

DAY 9, May 20, MONDAY - ATHENS / PIRAEUS PORT -CRUISING - MYKONOS: After breakfast you will be transferred to Piraeus for your 4 night cruise to the Greek Island. This afternoon our first stop is Mykonos, a cosmopolitan island with its windmills, beautiful beaches and its great shopping in its trendy boutiques or relax at one of the many cafes. DAY 10, May 21, TUESDAY - KUSADASI / PATMOS: Today you arrive on the Turkish Port of Kusadasi. Take the included tour of Ancient Ephesus – the most complete ancient city ever excavated). Next stop Patmos – the Jerusalem of the Aegean. Visit the monastery of St. John the Devine and the grotto where he wrote the Book of Revelation – optional tour. (B, L,D)

DAY 11, May 22, WEDNESDAY - RHODES / LINDOS: Port of Call – Rhodes, the island blessed by Apollo with light and beauty. A storybook place.  Early morning breakfast will be served onboard as you arrive in the Port of Rhodes. As your ship will remain in Rhodes all day, we suggest taking in the included excursion that visits Lindos and its Acropolis, the Medieval Town of Rhodes with its cobblestoned pathways or the archaeological site of Filerimos. For those wishing, lunch will be offered onboard or perhaps you may prefer to enjoy a meal ashore at one of the many quaint Greek tavernas at your own expense. The afternoon can be spent wandering around or taking a quick swim at one of the nearby beaches. Late afternoon, return to your ship. Dinner will be served onboard as you sail for Crete. (B, L, D)

DAY 12, May 23, THURSDAY - HERAKLION / SANTORINI: Arrive in Heraklion, the capital of Crete. Take an optional excursion to the Palace of King Minos at Knossos – the center of Minoan civilization. Sail on to Santorini, the volcano island, one of the most unforgettable places in the world. Walk in the narrow streets of the town of Thira or visit the beautiful village of Oia, perched on the rim of the caldera offering panoramic views of breathtaking beauty. (B, L, D)  

DAY 13, May 24, FRIDAY - ATHENS - PIRAEUS / AIRPORT: Tour ends today. This Morning after breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home bringing you many wonderful memories and new friendships to share with your family. (B)
