 Itinerary 

DAY 1, Sun. – USA /ATHENS: Overnight flight to Athens, Greece.  Airfare not included.  

DAY 2, Mon. - ATHENS: Upon arrival at the Athens International Airport, you will be transferred directly to your Athens Hotel. Late afternoon we continue with a wonderful drive along the Athenian Riviera with splendid views of the Saronic Gulf while passing through some of Athens’ most beautiful suburbs arriving at Cape Sounion. You will visit the 5th century B.C. Temple of Poseidon with its magnificent panoramic view of the Aegean Sea. Tonight, we will enjoy dinner at Vlaxika restaurant in Varkiza / Vari with authentic skewered lamb and Greek dishes. Overnight in Athens. (D)  Royal Olympic Hotel 5*

DAY 3, Tues. - ATHENS: After breakfast, you will commence your guided Half Day Athens Sightseeing Tour which will give you an overall view of Athens and its monuments with the highlight of the tour being a visit to the world famous ancient Acropolis and its museum. Rest of day at your leisure to explore Plaka, the old city of Athens. Here you will find many cafes, restaurants, souvenir and jewelry shops. Make sure you barter to get the best deals. (B)   Royal Olympic Hotel 5*

DAY 4, Wed. - ATHENS / DELPHI / KALAMBAKA: After breakfast depart on your 4-day tour of Classical Greece and Meteora. Our first stop is Delphi. Visits include the Doric Temple and the Sanctuary of Apollo, the Treasuries, the 5th-century bronzed Charioteer and the intriguing
Archaeological Museum filled with ancient artifacts. Afternoon we continue north passing the towns of Lamia, Karditsa, Trikala and finally Kalambaka. Dinner and overnight.(B, D) Hotel Divani Kalambaka 4* 

DAY 5, Thurs. - KALAMBAKA / METEORA: After breakfast mid-morning we visit the breathtaking monasteries of Meteora atop 1000-1200 ft. cliffs. You will visit two ageless monasteries containing priceless historical and religious treasures standing suspended between earth and sky. Rest of the day at your leisure. (B, D) Hotel Divani Kalambaka 4*

DAY 6, Fri. - KALAMBAKA / Kamena Vourla / LOUTRAKI: Today we drive south to Thermopylae – site of the famous Greek-Persian battle that King Leonidas and 300 Spartans heroically held the Persians. Few minutes for photos, continue to Kamena Vourla, a seaside resort area. Relax at one of the many cafes by the sea for a leisurely coffee break or light lunch. Continue to Nauplion or Loutraki with early evening arrival. (B, D)   Hotel Amalia Nauplion 4*  or  Club Hotel Casino Loutraki 5*    

DAY 7, Sat. - NAUPLION / Mycenae / Nauplion / Epidaurus / Airport / SANTORINI:  After breakfast we continue to Argolis and Mycenae, land of Homer’s Golden Mycenae, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Dating back to the second century B.C., Mycenae was one of the major centers of Greek civilization and a military stronghold which dominated much of southern Greece. Visit the archaeological site, home to the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon. You will see the Cyclopean Walls, the Lion’s Gate, the Royal Tombs, including Agamemnon Clytemnestra’s and the Treasury of Atreus, a magnificent 14th-century B.C. structure. Time will then be taken for a traditional Greek optional lunch at a nearby restaurant in Nauplion. Early afternoon we will make a brief stop at Corinth Canal for photos then continue to the airport for our early evening flight to Santorini. Check into your hotel for the next 3 nights. (B) Aphrodite Venus Hotel

DAY 8 & 9, Sun. & Mon. - SANTORINI:  Walk along the narrow streets of the town of Thira or visit the village of Oia for panoramic views of breathtaking beauty, sightseeing & shopping. Enjoy one of the many beaches such as Kamari Beach with its black sand or sit by a café on the caldera cliffs. In the evenings enjoy the many tavernas and nightlife that is available throughout. (B) Aphrodite Venus Hotel

DAY 10, Tues - Santorini / RHODES: Mid-morning we fly to Rhodes via Athens with early afternoon arrival. Check-in at our hotel in Rhodes for the next 3 nights. (B)  Atrium Platinum 5*Resort

DAY 11 & 12 Wed. & Thurs. - RHODES: Enjoy the amenities of the hotel and beach. We will take panoramic views of Rhodes, visit Lindos and its Acropolis, the Medieval Town of Rhodes with its cobblestoned pathways or the archaeological site of Filerimos. Enjoy Rhodes nightlife with its many tavernas or try lady luck at Casino Rodos. (B)  Atrium Platinum 5*Resort

DAY 13 Fri. - RHODES via Athens /USA: This morning we depart Rhodes via Athens /connect to our international flight to USA. (B)
